Once an investment commitment is made, our investors will receive a quarterly update on the status of their investments. Netra Capital is a private equity real estate investment firm managed by experts in a variety of real estate and infrastructure strategies who strive to create value to investors. We do extensive research in identifying value added real estate investments and manage the process from acquisition to exit. Such process may be cumbersome and even unattainable for investors who don’t have the expertise, time or capital for large acquisitions. What is the hold period on investments? Do I get dividends during the holding period?

The average hold period on investments is 3-7 years depending on the stage at which investments are acquired. Each project is planned in such a way that, maximum return on investments are offered to our partners which may include regular dividends or lump sum at the end of the hold period. Some projects are planned in phases where investors have the option to exit or roll their profits into subsequent phases for maximum returns.

Is my investment secure? What is the risk?

We carefully examine several investment options and select only those that have high potential Internal Rate of Return(IRR). As with any investment the ebbs and flows of the economy will temporarily impact the investments. It is hard to predict the cycles of the economy. We generally will not do a capital call for additional capital infusion. Instead, we may dilute the shares to bring in additional investments.

What is an accredited investor? Why is it required to be an accredited investor?

We only offer our investments to accredited investors to stay in compliance with SEC regulations. This also adds protection to your investment as you will be partnering with investors. To qualify as an accredited investor, per SEC regulations, one of the following must be true:

Net Worth: I am a natural person whose individual net worth, or joint net worth with my spouse, exceeds $1 million (excluding equity in my principal residence). Individual Income: I am a natural person who had an individual income in excess of $200,000 in each of the most recent two years, or joint income with my spouse in excess of $300,000 in each of those years, and expect to reach the same income level in the current year.

Trust: I am a trust not formed for the specific purpose of making this investment, with total assets in excess of $5 million, whose purchase is directed by a person who is financially sophisticated within the meaning of the United States federal securities laws and regulations.

Business Entity: I am a business entity in which all the equity owners are accredited investors.

Corporation: I am a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership, not formed for the specific purpose of making this investment, with total assets in excess of $5 million.

Institutional Account: I represent an institutional account with $50 million or greater of investable assets and, therefore, satisfy the institutional customer exemption pursuant to FINRA Rule 2111 (b).

What documents should I furnish to prove that I am an accredited investor?

W-2s, tax returns, investment account statements, a third-party confirmation from my accountant or broker, and/or any other documents that will enable issuers to reasonably evaluate accredited investor status.

Is there an investment minimum?

Yes, there will be an investment minimum and maximum will be set per project.

Do I own real estate or shares?

By investing in Netra Capital, you will own shares to a specific real estate project.

What is a minimum hold period? Do you have an emergency exit policy?

Minimum hold period is set per project based on our analysis of when the investors will get maximum return on investment. We highly discourage early exit so you can maximize the value of your investment. However, we understand that emergencies may arise requiring early exit. In such cases, the investor is responsible for finding an accredited investor interested in purchasing their partnership interest.
